背景と目的

私は、これまでにAWS認定を2つ取ったのだが、自分のミスで別々のAWS認定アカウントを作成して試験を受けてしまった。バラバラになっているのはイマイチだと思ったので、2つを統合してみる。

詳細

1. 状況

Candidate IDの異なる2つのアカウントがある。そもそも、AWS認定はAmazonのアカウントでログインできる。もともと、私はAmazonのアカウントを2つ持っていたせいで、2回の試験でそれぞれ別々のAmazonアカウントでログインしてしまったらしい。。。

2. サポートへの統合の依頼

参考1,2サイトに従って、メールアドレス②をメールアドレス①に統合してくれ、という意思を伝える文面を、 合っているかわからない英語 で問い合わせフォームに記入。統合したい理由は、一方のメールアドレスを使わなくなったから、ということにしておいた。

old: メールアドレス②
new: メールアドレス①

3. サポートからの応答

サポートから、翌日すぐに返答が来た。

You can change your notification email on both the Training Portal and in your Certification account at a later date. Your Certification account notification email can be set to any email you prefer.

Your Training notification email cannot be an email address you've previously used in the Training Portal as a notification email.

It is important to note that the account merge action cannot be reversed, and your login email address can not be changed. Please review all of the email addresses above for accuracy.

数時間後、完了を伝えるメールが到着。

試しに、メールアドレス①でログインしてみたところ、Candidate ID: AWSXXXXXXXXで、取得済み認定のリストが更新され以下の通り2つになった。ということで無事に統合が完了。
